Conference Updates – Downlink 4

Clare Grayson, U.S. Department of Defense; Richard Mortellaro, EchoStar Corporation; Nathan Kundtz, Kymeta and Eric Beranger, OneWeb have confirmed that they will participate in our Monday morning opening session on March 12. This year’s Monday opening session will provide an update and overview of the aerospace industry for both first-time attendees and veterans of the SATELLITE show, highlighting technologies and issues that will be a focus of the week-long program.

Christopher Stott, ManSat; Mark Dickinson, Space Data Association; David Ball, Space Environment Research Centre and Mikhail Khailov, Roscosmos will be participating in an exciting panel titled “International Cooperation for Space Situational Awareness” on Thursday, March 15. as part of our new Civil Space Forum.  International cooperation in space activities has flourished for many decades. The benefits of the many global scientific and technological achievements through these cooperative efforts have far surpassed all political boundaries. This panel will explore how safe and reliable access to space for commercial, civil and military purposes depends on how the international space-faring community deploys, maintains and monitors single, dual or large scale constellations.

We are still inviting speakers to participate in the SATELLITE 2018 conference program. The process has only begun! If you have inquired about speaking and have not yet received a confirmation, please be patient! We have hundreds of requests and are working as hard as we can to reply to everyone as quickly as possible!
