Rockville, MD. – Friday, November 10, 2017 – SATELLITE Conference & Exhibition, the largest global satellite and space technology show, taking place March 12-15, 2018 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C., released the 2018 conference agenda this week.

From government and telecommunications to automotive manufacturers, media and broadcasting, agriculture and large consumer-focused companies – satellites continue to play a larger role as more and more industries become connected, and the conference content reflects this integration of industries. With tracks in Transportation, Finance, Imagery & Sensing, Mobile Connectivity, Government & Military, Regional Issues, Broadcast & Media, Enterprise, and more, this is the most diverse program in the show’s 37-year history.

Conference sessions include:

  • Serving Connected Enterprises: Industrial IoT and Automation
  • NASA’s Optical Communications Program for 2018 and Beyond
  • Critical Developments in Antenna Technology for In-Flight Connectivity
  • Sea Traffic Control: Managing the Digitalization of the High Seas
  • Ultra HDTV Live Event and News Broadcasting: The Olympics and Beyond

“The audience at SATELLITE has certainly changed and grown more diverse over the past 37 years, as mobile and fixed connectivity, imagery, navigation, tracking and remote sensing capabilities have become more and more integrated with the technology and tools we use every day,” says Jeffrey Hill, SATELLITE Conference Chairman. “Our mission in assembling the SATELLITE 2018 program is to provide opportunities for both new and existing customers to learn about how satellites can solve present and future challenges.”
