SGx on Monday, March 12 – The purpose of SGx is to expose young professionals to the satellite and aerospace industry, and connect them with mentors who can help guide them down their career path. The presentations during SGx are designed to be fast-paced, and showcase a wide-array of experiences and expertise from the community. You can purchase a ticket to SGx during registration.
Opening General Session on Tuesday, March 13 at 8:30am in Ballroom BC – The CEOs of the leading five operators take the stage to talk about the impact new data-driven markets are having on the satellite connectivity industry, but there’s a twist for 2018! Guest moderators from Royal Caribbean, Cisco and Wells Fargo will join Mark Holmes onstage to share their insights on these emerging markets.
Reuse, Revitalize, Repurpose – How In-Orbit Satellite Servicing is Changing the Economics of Space on Tuesday, March 13 at 2:00pm in Ballroom A – David W. Thompson Tom Wilson with Orbital ATK joins our chairman Jeffrey Hill on stage to explore the next generation of robotic in-orbit satellite servicing. This session is open to all SATELLITE attendees!
Satellite Executive of the Year Luncheon on Wednesday, March 14 at 12:00pm in Ballroom BC – This year, we celebrate Gwynne Shotwell, President and COO SpaceX, as Via Satellite’s 2017 Satellite Executive of the Year. Congressman C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD) also joins the celebration to give some congratulatory remarks. One ticket to the lunch is included with your All Access pass, and additional tickets can be purchased at registration.
Thursday Closing Session: Are Satellite and Terrestrial Industries Converging? on Thursday, March 15 at 1:00pm in Room 202 – As the connectivity landscape rapidly changes and 5G quickly becomes a reality, industry executives will discuss what the future holds for satellite, and what 5G means to the community. This session is open to all SATELLITE attendees!
